Afolabi Babalola is a highly skilled geophysicist with over 15 years of industry experience, having spent the last decade and currently working at Shell Oil Company in Houston as a Gulf of Mexico Development Geophysicist. He holds a Master’s degree in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Time Depth Conversion Subject Matter Expert at Shell.
In addition to his work, Afolabi is a philanthropist and founder of Babsfoundation.org, a non-profit organization focused on supporting minority elementary, middle, and high school students in Nigeria and Houston, US. He also serves on the board of the McReynolds Middle School Engineering and Public Policy Institute - Houston, Texas.
Afolabi is married to Moni and has three children - two boys and a girl. He enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities in his free time.
